About NTS
National TRU Solutions, LLC (NTS) is comprised of parent companies HII Nuclear Inc. and Atkins Nuclear Secured, LLC.
NTS combines HII Nuclear’s experience, capabilities, and key personnel from DOE’s U1a—an underground nuclear project at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS), a direct analog to WIPP, with the Atkins-led DUF6 project—recognized for safe nuclear operation production tempo.
Preselected Subcontractors
These two parent companies are joined by two preselected small business subcontractors. North Wind Dynamics, LLC (NWD) and SE&C, LLC (SE&C) are recognized for their transuranic (TRU) waste experience. NWD also brings added focus on cybersecurity.
Educational Institutions
The NTS team is supplemented by the nation’s top two mining institutions – New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (NMT) and the Trustees of the Colorado School of Mines (CSM).
